STEELCORED 71 is an innovative seamless flux cored wires manufactured using seamless tube technology. The manufacturing process, developed in more than 50 years of continuous activity, ensures the best weldability and ease of use for all applications segments. Whether in critical manual application or in combination with modern welding automation, STEELCORED 71 flux cored wires is designed to match the the most critical demands.

  • Moisture content:

The very low moisture content of the core filling in the finished product means that the hydrogen potential in the weld metal of STEELCORED cored wires is incredibly low, minimizing cold crack risk and reducing preheat temperature.No moisture can then be re-absorbed by the flux core as there is no seam.

  • Ease of use:

It is a flux cored wire range which is easy to use with excellent welding characteristics. It can be used in most positions with only one parameter setting giving very little spatter and a slag easy to detach. STEELCORED flux cored wires work perfectly with your welding equipment without the need for any changes.It works with the same rollers as for solid wire and can be welded also with a step controlled welding equipment, such as PRESTOMIG.
